Val-e-vue Resort

My wife and I love this place! We have stayed here a few times and will be back. Mike, Kim, and Ben are the nicest people! It’s a very nice, clean resort and has everything you need for your stay. Fishing is great off of the covered dock and if you want, there’s lots of choices for boat rentals.

I loved this resort. It's location is quiet and somewhat 'off the beaten path', yet close enough to lots of local bars, restaurants, shopping and attractions. It only took us 11 minutes to get to Bridal cave and 20min to Ha Ha Tonka State park. We took advantage of the boat rentals right next door, so close we just walked from our cabin to get our rented pontoon, which was the most amazing way to enjoy the lake! There's a swimming dock and the water was a wonderful escape from the heat. There's a nice big fire pit and a personal charcoal grill for each individual cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed from dishes to cooking and grilling utensils except towels... Remember to bring your own shower and beach towels.

This was our second family vacation to Val-e-vue Resort and I am thrilled to say this is now a yearly tradition. We love the quaint and quiet area, the owners and staff are the most genuine people, the dock to swim is my favorite and the dock to fish gets the entire families attention throughout the day and well into the evening. I enjoy the option of booking the same time for the next year as we have met and made friends that we have seen both years. The ability to rent a boat or jet ski and walk to the rental location is another great plus. Along with their beautiful new store. If you are looking for a place to relax, read a book, fish, swim and eat good fish this is your place.

The location is beautiful! The sunsets were amazing! The people we talked with were very friendly and helpful! The cabin and everything in it needed a good cleaning. Every dish, pan, glass we took out to use was dirty, the pans were disgusting. The microwave was covered in food splatter. The extra blanket was an explosion of dog hair and dust. New pillows or washing them would be good, they smelled like dirty old man. The heater/ac vent needs a cleaning. The dust and smell was so stinky and had my nose plugged up.

Owners and staff very polite and friendly. Treat you like family. Cabins are very nice beautiful lake view , good parking, well upkept, we try to go 3to4 times a year, I just want thank you all !!!

I was super impressed with how comfortable this bed was it was like I was at home And if you love the smell and feel of Grandpa's musty cabin then this place is for you. The lake view is delightful. I'll definitely come back.

My sisters and I went there for the weekend for her birthday celebration. We had a wonderful time. We were in unit 3 and 4 and the units were very clean and comfortable. The sta Ff was very pleasant. A great place to getaway to.

The owners did well with helping out the needs of customers. I had an assignment due online, and they were able to reset the wifi access, allowing myself to get on and submit. They offered bait and tackle for us to use for fishing if we needed anything. The rooms were clean and spacious. Supplied dehumidifier if needed. The boating docks were spacious and nice. The swimming area was great with a well-kept dock and ladder to get out of the water.
